1. Replace brush
 
(1) Cut the brush lead wire on the connecting position at the starter yoke side.
 
(2) Reshape the soldering surface of the starter yoke with a file or sandpaper.
 
(3) Install a new brush with plate on the starter yoke, and crimp in place.
 
  (4) Solder the new brush to the attached area.
 
HINT:
Limit the amount of solder to ensure that the solder will not be attached to other than the target area.
