Reassembly

Install Clutch Hub and Gears on Output Shaft

Install gears
1. Carefully note the positioning and direction of each part as you install them on the shaft.
NOTICE:
•
Rotate the gears to align the shifting key with the groove on the synchronizer ring.
•
Coat sliding portion of the gears with gear oil before reassembly.
 
2. Set and attach SST. Then use the hydraulic press to press in the clutch hub, gears and bearing.
 
3. After pressing in the parts, verify that each gear rotates smoothly.
•
 1st gear and clutch hub No.1
    Reassemble snap rings
   
(1)
Select the thickest snap ring that can be inserted into the snap ring groove (A).
(The clearance between the snap ring groove and the snap ring should be 0.1 mm or less)
HINT:
Select a snap ring size to adjust the gear thrust clearance as required.

Use a brass bar and hammer to install the snap ring.

 Install 4th Driven Gear
•
 Install Output Shaft Bearing
