Reassemble the hub sleeve and clutch hub while carefully verifying their proper positioning. Then attach the shifting keys and key springs to the clutch hub.
HINT:
•
On a C-type transaxle, the reverse gear and hub sleeve are combined as one unit.
•
Coat sliding porting of the hub sleeve with gear oil before reassembly.

•
Hook the claw of the key spring to the shifting key.
•
Do not align the opening of the key springs.

HINT:
Compress the key spring with a flat-head screwdriver and insert the shifting key.
