Removal

Remove Engine Room Parts

1.
Remove following parts from engine
Drive belt
A/C compressor
Engine mount mounting bolts (only loosen)
Accelerator cable
 
2. Remove following parts from transaxle
Clutch release cylinder
Shift and select cables
Engine mount through bolt and nut (only loosen)
 
HINT:
The power steering pipeline does not need to be disconnected. The engine is removed with the steering gear attached to the suspension members, and the vane pump attached to the engine, so the piping does not need to be disconnected.
For systems that use gas and oil, air bleeding work will not be required if the parts are removed without disconnecting the piping. The AC gas must not be released for safety of personnel and in accordance with environmental legislation.
