Install drive shaft mounting lock nut

Tightening the lock nuts requires two people
to ensure that they are securely fastened.
|
|
NOTICE:
The removed lock nut cannot be reused. Be sure to use a new
lock nut.
|
|
HINT:
One person steps on the brake pedal and the other person torques the lock nut.
|

Position the drive shaft groove facing toward
the top.
|
|
(3)
|
Use a chisel and hammer to stake the new lock
nut.
