Attach the sling device to the engine hanger.
HINT:

After installation of the engine sling device, raise the chain block. Light tension is applied to both chains.
CAUTION:
•
Be careful not to allow the overhaul stand to be lifted up.
•
If the chain block is raised too high, the overhaul stand could be raised up, creating a very dangerous situation.
•
If uniform tension is not applied to both chains, the engine will tilt significantly, creating a very dangerous situation.
3.
Remove the engine from the overhaul stand.
