Inspect magnet starter switch continuity
Inspect the following items with an electrical tester.
(1)
Continuity between terminal 50 and terminal C (Continuity check in the pull-in coil).
HINT:
•
The pull-in coil connects terminal 50 and terminal C. If the pull-in coil is normal, there is continuity between the terminals.
•
When the pull-in coil is open, the plunger is not pulled in.

Continuity between terminal 50 and the switch body (Continuity check in the hold-in coil).
