Remove Starter Clutch

Remove starter clutch
(1)
Remove the starter armature assembly from the starter yoke and hold the armature in a vise wedged between aluminium plates or a cloth.
(2)
Slide the stop collar downward by tapping it with a flat-blade screwdriver.
(3)
Remove the snap ring.
(4)
Remove the stop collar and starter clutch from the armature shaft.
