Inspect Combination Meter Connector Voltage

  3. Inspect illumination circuit
  (1) Select the voltage measuring function of the electrical tester.
  (2) When turning the light control switch to the TAIL position, measure the voltage change between combination meter connector terminal C and terminal B.
 
HINT:
  Turning the light control switch to the TAIL position will apply battery voltage to the combination meter (terminal C) via the light control switch. As a result the combination meter is illuminated.
