Remove Alternator Rotor Assembly

Since the rotor bearing is pressed into the end frame, it needs to be removed using the SST.
 
  1. Remove rear end frame
    Correctly locate the claws of the SST when removing the rear end frame.
 
2. Remove alternator rotor assembly
    Remove the rotor from the drive end frame bearing by tapping the rotor shaft with a plastic hammer.
NOTICE:
During removal support the rotor to prevent it droping and causing damge.
