The air inlet selector switches the air inlet control between either recirculation or fresh modes. In ordinary usage the fresh (outside) air intake should be selected. When the fresh (outside) air mode is selected, the air inlet damper opens the fresh (outside) air suction port and closes the recirculation (inside) air port. If the outside air is polluted, the air inlet selector should be switched to the recirculation mode.
