To cool the air introduced into the cabin, an evaporator is used as a heat exchanger. When the air conditioner switch is turned on, the compressor begins to operate and circulates the refrigerant through the evaporator.
The evaporator is cooled by the refrigerant, which cools the air drawn in by the blower fan. While heating depends on the engine coolant temperature, the cooling function works independently, regardless of the engine coolant temperature. |
