Installing drive shaft

Apply gear oil to the spline on the inboard
joint side and then engage the drive shaft with the transaxle spline.

HINT:
Direct the opening side facing of the drive shaft snap rings
downward. |

Bring the brass bar into contact with the drive shaft groove and then insert this shaft into the transaxle by tapping the brass bar with a hammer.

HINT:
Whether the drive shaft has been completely inserted can be judged by confirming whether there is a change in the reaction of the brass bar when hit or in sound quality. |
