Remove Differential Pinion Shaft and Side Gear

Remove straight pin

First stabilize the differential case by holding it in a vise between aluminium plates.
NOTICE:
Do not tighten the vise excessively.

Use a chisel and hammer to unstake around the straight pin and press out with pin punch.

Remove pinion shaft, side gear
Remove the pinion shaft, pinions, side gears and the thrust washers from the differential case.
