Disconnect shift and select cables
|

Remove the clips and washers and then disconnect
the shift and select cables from the transaxle.

NOTICE:
Do not exert an excessive force on, or bend, the shift and
select cables.

HINT:
|
|

|
Do not let the clip fly away.
|
|
|
Use a cord to tie down the disconnected cables
to keep them out of the way when removing the transaxle.
|
|

|
Place tags on the disconnected shift and select
cables to identify them for reassembly.
