Disconnect Clamps and Hoses

Click on the underlined sentence.

The coolant hose, the vacuum hose, and other hoses are connected to the engine.
Before removing the engine, all hoses must be disconnected.

1. Disconnect the following hoses:
(1) Brake booster hose
(2) Radiator hose
(3) Heater hose
(4) Air cleaner hose
(5) Air cleaner

NOTICE:
Since the coolant in the engine cannot be completely drained, disconnect the radiator hose and heater hose from the engine and then plug each hole with a cloth to prevent the coolant from leaking.
After removing the air cleaner, cover the air intake path with cloth or tape to prevent foreign matter from getting into the throttle body. If foreign matter gets into the throttle body, it could damage the valve or combustion chamber.
