Drain coolant |

Cover the radiator cap with a cloth so that
the coolant does not spray out.

|
Loosen the radiator cap by rotating it about
45 degrees to release the internal pressure of the radiator. |

(3)
|
Rotate the radiator cap 45 degrees further to
remove it. |

Place coolant receiving pans under the drain
plugs of the radiator and engine block. |
HINT:
The positions of the drain plugs vary from model
to model. Refer to the Repair Manual. |

|
Drain the coolant by loosening the drain plug
of the radiator first and then that of the engine block. |
