Install exhaust pipe |

Using vernier calipers, measure the compression
spring's free length.
|
| HINT: |
| If the value is outside the standard,
replace the spring with a new one. |

|
Mount a new gasket on the exhaust pipe.
|
| HINT: |
| If the gasket of exhaust pipes that
uses a compression spring does not naturally separate from the pipe, it can be
reused. If reusing it, be careful not to damage it. |

(3)
|
Align the hole position of the exhaust manifold
with that of the exhaust pipe, and then secure with the bolts.

HINT:
|
|

|
Installation of the exhaust pipe requires two
people.
|
|
•
|
Generally, nuts for the exhaust pipe are not
reusable.
Be sure to use new ones.
