Remove Camshaft

1. Set camshaft position bolts
 
  2. Remove camshaft
  (1) Uniformly loosen the bearing cap mounting bolts in several passes using the correct sequence..
  (2) Remove the bearing cap and camshaft.
 
HINT:
The order of removal for the bearing cap mounting bolts differs according to the engine type. Refer to the Repair Manual for further details.
 
  (3) Store the removed bearing cap in the cylinder No. order.
