Heater.

Construction

1. Water valve
(1) Description
The water valve is installed in the engine's coolant circuit and controls the amount of engine coolant that is allowed to enter the heater core.
The driver operates the water valve by moving the temperature selector on the control panel.
HINT:
Most recent models do not have a water valve. In these models, the engine coolant constantly flows through the heater core
2. Heater core
(1) Description
The engine coolant (approx. 80°C) flows through the heater core and the air passing over the heater core fins is warmed by this heat.
(2) Construction
The heater core consists of the tube/fin and capsule. The flat type tube/fin improves heat conduction and increases the heating performance.
