Install the shift detent balls, springs and
spring seats in the transmission case.
|
|
2.
|
Clean the shift detent plugs
and apply lock adhesive.
|
|
3.
|
Use a hexagon wrench
to tighten the following plugs and lock ball on the transmission
case: |

Shift detent plug (5th
and Reverse gears) |

HINT:
Tighten plugs while lightly pressing the hexagon
wrench to prevent damage to the hexagonal hole. |
