Install the reverse idler gear, thrust washer,
and reverse idle gear shaft on the transaxle case. When installing the reverse
idle gear shaft, make sure of the installation direction before installation.

| You must align the shaft bolt hole
with the transaxle case mounting bolt hole to properly fasten the
reverse idler gear shaft to the transmission case. |
