Check neutral position
|

Set the shift and select lever
shaft in the neutral position.

HINT:
Unless the shift and select lever shaft
is set in neutral position, this cannot be removed.

Remove shift and select lever shaft
|

|
Loosen the bolts in a diagonal sequence, rotating
each bolt a little at a time, and remove them.
|

|
(2)
|
Pull the shift and select lever
shaft straight to remove the unit from the transaxle.
