Propeller Shaft (FR Vehicle)

Centre bearing
Apply grease
1.
Remove SST from the transmission extension housing.
2.
Apply grease to the lip of the transmission extension housing oil seal.
3.
Insert the propeller shaft into the transmission extension housing.
4.
Hand-tighten the centre bearing and differential companion flange.
HINT:
•
Install the centre bearing spacers in the same positions identified during removal.
•
Align the matchmarks of the propeller shaft and differential companion flange.
5.
Tighten the centre bearing and differential companion flange mounting bolts and nuts.
