Inspect Radio Receiver Assembly Voltage

3. Inspect illumination circuit
  (1) Select the voltage measuring function of the electrical tester.
  (2) When turning the light control switch to the TAIL position, measure the voltage change between the radio receiver assembly connector terminal G and terminal F.
 
  HINT:  
  Turning the light control switch to the TAIL position will apply battery voltage to the radio receiver assembly (terminal G) via the light control switch. as a result the radio receiver assembly illuminates.
 
  (3) Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
