| In systems that have a self-diagnosis
function, such as the SRS airbag system, DTCs are stored in the Airbag Sensor
Assembly when a malfunction occurs. Connecting the battery or turning the ignition
switch on when connectors and parts are removed could cause the Airbag Sensor
Assembly to detect a DTC. In this case, it is necessary to erase the stored DTC
after completing the work. Erasing procedures differ according to the system,
so perform the work by following the Repair Manual. |
