In order to understand the electrical system circuit diagrams and to be able to quickly check and test components, you must know where components are installed in the vehicle and how they are connected. The document that details all of the vehicles electrical circuits and their construction is an Electrical Wiring Diagram (EWD). An EWD (Electrical Wiring Diagram) is published for each Toyota and Lexus model at the time the vehicle is initially produced and whenever any technical or electrical change is made to that model (EWD supplement). |
