Charge via the high-pressure side |

With the engine not running, open the high-pressure side valve on the manifold gauge set and charge the system with refrigerant until the low-pressure side gauge reads about 0.98 MPa
(1 kg/cm², 14psi). |

At this point, close the high side valve. |

Operating the A/C compressor when the refrigerant charge is low could result in A/C compressor seizure. |
| • |
Never open the low-pressure side valve during charging. Opening the low pressure side while charging will allow refrigerant in a liquid state to enter and cause damage to the A/C compressor. |
