Install shift lever

Apply grease to the tip of the shift lever (collar
section). |

First verify the directional positioning of the
shift lever and then install it on the transmission. |

Fasten the shift lever. |
| Note that there are three
types of shift levers: |

Fastened with bolts, nut and retainer |

Fastened with bolts and retainers |

Fastened with clip |
