This chapter outlines typical procedures for disassembling and inspecting the transaxle unit.

Disassemble transaxle |
| Remove all of the parts surrounding
the transmission case. Then take off the case and remove the input shaft, output
shaft and the differential. |

Inspect transaxle |
| Use a measuring instrument to measure
the degree of wear that has occurred on the transaxle parts. Replace any parts
that show excessive wear. |
